About the role
This position involves providing expert consulting and brokerage services for a comprehensive range of employee benefit plans, including health, life, disability, dental, and vision insurance. The role focuses on designing, implementing, and managing group benefit programs such as AD&D, cafeteria plans, and health & welfare arrangements to meet client organizational needs.
Responsibilities
- Consult with client organizations to assess their employee benefit requirements and objectives.
- Design and recommend tailored benefit plans, including health insurance, life insurance, disability, dental, and vision coverage.
- Manage the implementation and ongoing administration of group benefit programs.
- Provide guidance on cafeteria plans and health & welfare consulting services.
- Serve as a licensed insurance broker, facilitating the placement of coverage with appropriate carriers.
- Analyze plan performance and regulatory compliance, offering strategic recommendations for plan improvements.
- Develop and deliver employee communication and education materials regarding benefit offerings.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in employee benefits consulting or insurance brokerage.
- In-depth knowledge of group benefit plans, including health, life, disability, dental, and vision insurance.
- Familiarity with AD&D group plans, cafeteria plans, and health & welfare benefit structures.
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate plan design, costs, and carrier options.
- Excellent client relationship and communication abilities.
- Relevant insurance licensing or credentials as required by state regulations.
