Responsibilities

• Drive the full software development lifecycle for cutting-edge cyberspace capabilities that directly support Marine Corps cyber missions.
• Shape project vision, scope, and timelines to deliver high-impact technical solutions.
• Partner with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and prioritize mission requirements that guide development.
• Identify risks early, assess vulnerabilities, and engineer secure, resilient solutions.
• Create detailed system architectures, models, and prototypes that bring cyber capabilities to life.
• Build, test, and refine software across multiple programming languages in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
• Architect solutions using modern approaches including microservices, monolithic systems, and event-driven designs.
• Write clean, well-documented code that supports long-term scalability and maintainability.
• Manage configurations and version control with industry-standard tools like Git.
• Led quality assurance with rigorous unit, integration, system, and acceptance testing.
• Implement secure coding practices, perform vulnerability assessments, and ensure compliance with strict cybersecurity standards.
• Create and refine operational scripts that directly support cyberspace operations.
• Integrate capabilities with USCYBERCOM’s common services to ensure interoperability across the joint cyber mission.
• Contribute to the development of cyberspace tradecraft and TTPs that strengthen MARFORCYBER’s operational advantage.

Qualifications

• Security Clearance Level: Active TS/SCI with CI Poly
• Experience: 10+ years of experience in software development, with demonstrated expertise across the full lifecycle
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, C, C++, and Assembly
• Experience with development tools including Visual Studio and Git
• Familiarity with operating systems including Windows, Linux, and macOS
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform
• Strong background in software architecture, modeling, and configuration management
• Secure coding practices and vulnerability assessment experience
