MBChB Placement Coordinator

Reporting to the Head of Operational Delivery, you will lead the day-to-day management of placement allocation and capacity management processes, ensuring students are placed in appropriate, high-quality learning environments.

Responsibilities

• Leading and overseeing placement allocation and capacity management activities.
• Managing and developing Placement Officers, including coaching, objective setting, and performance reviews.
• Monitoring placement capacity, quality, and student attendance.
• Supporting the development and implementation of processes, systems, and service improvements.
• Acting as a key point of contact for placement-related enquiries, providing advice and guidance to staff and stakeholders.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with placement providers and external partners.
• Supporting Placement Committees and working groups through the preparation of reports, agendas, minutes, and action tracking.
• Contributing to the ongoing development of placement systems and processes to enhance efficiency and service delivery.

Requirements

• Understanding of placement allocation and placement management systems.
• Strong organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience of providing high-level administrative support within a complex organisation.
• Experience of managing or supervising staff.
• Experience of building productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience of collating and analysing data and producing reports.
• Experience of implementing process improvements.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively to deadlines.
• Commitment to delivering excellent customer service and supporting continuous improvement.
