MAVO Driver

About the role

For 30 years, On Time has led the industry in medical transportation services and is the proud partner of Robert Wood Johnson Barnabas Health System. At On Time Mobility Assistance Vehicle Operators (MAVO), drive wheelchair vans, providing non-emergent medical transport to patients to and from different medical facilities.

• No experience needed as training is provided.

Requirements

• Must successfully complete the company's orientation and training.
• Submit to and successfully pass State criminal history review, and drug and alcohol screening.
• Complete a Defensive Driving Test.
• Meet Logisticare approval as a condition of employment.
• Have a BLS CPR certification for health care providers. (On Time will provide)
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean record.

• Safe and responsible driving.
• Assistance with wheelchair and non-wheelchair bound passengers.
• Professional interaction with patients/clients, the public, and other employees.
• Use of vehicle safety equipment.
• Perform CPR.
• Physical and mental fitness for job duties.
• Familiarity with navigation equipment.
• Vehicle maintenance and inspection.
• Communication with dispatch and clients.
• Order maintenance on the vehicle.
• Minors supervision.

Pay

The above reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey. The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate’s educational background, skills, and professional experience. In addition to base salary, this position may be eligible for clinical certification pay and/or shift differentials.
