About the role

As a Seasonal Team Associate you’ll partner with a Mattel Retail Services Representative to grow Mattel’s presence at major retailers, working a minimum of 15 hours per week during the busiest holiday season. The position is temporary, enthusiastic, and focused on merchandising, fast‑paced execution, and delivering results. It can serve as a gateway to future merchandising career opportunities with Mattel.

Responsibilities

• Act as a brand ambassador for Mattel/Fisher‑Price brands and products.
• Collaborate with the lead Mattel Representative to secure prime product placements for iconic brands.
• Partner on monthly scheduling with the lead Mattel Representative.
• Unpack cases of various Mattel toys.
• Merchandise and organize product on the sales floor.
• Construct and deconstruct store fixtures, including shelving and racking.
• Implement point‑of‑purchase materials.
• Execute special projects as assigned, such as store events.
• Perform administrative tasks including time entry, attending meetings and trainings, and checking email.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Preferred work hours: weekday daytime with occasional weekends; must be available at least 15 hours per week.
• Up‑to‑date smartphone and/or computer with Chrome browser for time entry, email, and Workday (mobile phone required for multi‑factor authentication).
• Reliable internet access.
• Reliable transportation for travel between assigned store locations (gas mileage reimbursement per company policy).
• Residence within approximately 20 miles of the assigned territory or ability to reliably service the territory.
• Physical ability to stand, bend, twist, squat, kneel, reach, walk for long periods, climb ladders up to 12 ft, lift 25 lb frequently (50 lb occasionally), push/pull carts up to 100 lb, and operate power tools (screwdriver & drill).
• Merchandising, retail, or customer service experience (preferred, not required).
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and sense of urgency.
• Professional, positive attitude and ability to represent the brand.
• Flexible, adaptable mindset; comfortable collaborating in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
• Eagerness to learn new skills with a safety‑first mentality.
• Tech‑savvy (smartphone, apps).

Pay

Hourly rate: $18.50.

Schedule

Minimum 15 hours per week during the holiday season. Preferred weekday daytime hours with occasional weekends. Must be available to work at least 15 hours per week.
