Job Description

• Structures class and uses appropriate instructional aids stressing "discovery" and laboratory learning methods.
• Demonstrates mathematical concepts using models, chalkboard, overhead projector, and other standard or teacher-prepared instructional aids.
• Designs learning activities that will relate mathematics to the physical world.
• Develops weekly lesson plans and supplementary materials compatible with the basic instructional philosophy and curriculum of the District.
• Provides students with the opportunity to partake in daily patriotic observance (Education Code 52720).
• Monitors classroom environment to ensure clean and safe conditions exist, notifying principal of any unclean or unsafe classroom conditions.
• Monitors classroom activities making students responsible for putting materials, supplies, tools, etc., safely and neatly away at the end of the class session.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Valid California Single Subject Mathematics credential AND English Learner Authorization.
• Attach a detailed copy of your credential (screenshot from ctc.ca.gov including name, document number, authorization code with credential name and description, issue date, and expiration date). Suitable for framing certificate copies and expired copies will not be accepted.
• Copy of Transcript (ALL Undergraduate AND Graduate Coursework).
• Credential Copy (detailed screenshot from CTC website OR credential status letter from university with anticipated completion date OR proof of credential application). Credential must post by July 1, 2026.
• English Learner Authorization (if embedded, upload detailed credential to satisfy).
• Letter of Introduction.
• Letter(s) of Recommendation: Two (2) letters, signed and dated within the last 24 months. Only wet signatures and e-signatures accepted; typed names in stylized font not accepted. Letters from relatives not acceptable.
• Resume.

Pay & Schedule

• Salary: $62,309 - $130,469 annually.
• District Induction Program provided for teachers with preliminary credentials.
• Length of Work Year: 183 work days.
• Employment Type: Full Time.
