About the role
Fairfield College Preparatory School is seeking a full-time Math Teacher to join our dynamic and supportive community.
Responsibilities
- Teach five sections of Math
- Participate in an Ignatian Educator Formation program
- Work collaboratively with members of the Mathematics department
- Attend all department and faculty meetings and professional development opportunities
- Assist in the extracurricular and spiritual life of the school community
- Develop young men to become intellectually competent, religious, loving, committed to doing justice, and open to growth
- Teach students in a 1:1 setting with iPads
Requirements
- Experience teaching in a high school setting
- Experience with or familiarity with Jesuit ideals
- A minimum of a BA in Math and/or Secondary Education; MA preferred
Qualifications
- BA in Math and/or Secondary Education
- MA preferred
Skills
- Ability to teach in a 1:1 setting with iPads
