Mathematics PhD - AI Researcher

About the role

This is a remote, contract position requiring a commitment of 4–6 tasks per week. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis with a start date in February.

Responsibilities

• Develop challenging problems in Mathematics to enhance AI model training and innovation.
• Evaluate the accuracy and depth of AI-generated content to strengthen reasoning and rigor in model outputs.
• Collaborate with AI research teams to ensure high-quality data informs future AI innovations.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while improving AI model performance.
• Provide structured feedback to improve training data quality and downstream performance.

Requirements

• PhD in Mathematics from a top US/UK/Canada/Western European university.
• Undergraduate degree from US/UK/Canada/Western Europe.
• High attention to detail.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent proficiency in English.

Pay

$70–$90/hour
