About the Role
What if your years of advanced mathematical training could directly shape how AI reasons through the world's hardest problems? We're looking for Mathematics experts — Masters and PhD holders — to help build and refine the mathematical reasoning capabilities of cutting-edge AI models.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. No AI background needed — just deep mathematical expertise and a sharp eye for rigor and clarity.

What You'll Do
- Develop, solve, and review advanced mathematical problems with real-world relevance and intellectual depth
- Design complex problem statements across algebra, calculus, statistics, discrete mathematics, or related fields
- Evaluate AI-generated mathematical reasoning for correctness, rigor, and clarity
- Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and domain experts to strengthen model performance
- Ensure every deliverable meets the highest standards of mathematical precision and depth
Who You Are
- Master's or PhD in Mathematics or a closely related field
- Deep expertise in one or more areas: algebra, calculus, statistics, or discrete mathematics
- Comfortable coding in Python, MATLAB, or Mathematica for research or problem-solving
- Exceptionally detail-oriented with strong written communication skills
- Able to translate complex mathematical concepts into clear, well-structured explanations
- Fluent in English
Nice to Have
- Experience with data annotation, data quality assessment, or evaluation systems
- Background in mathematical research, academic publishing, or technical writing
- Familiarity with AI tools or machine learning concepts
- Experience reviewing or grading advanced mathematical work
