Math Virtual Teacher

What You'll Do

• Teach in a truly personalized way — one student at a time
• Adapt lessons and assessments to meet each learner's needs
• Mentor each student and support their social-emotional growth
• Build strong, consistent partnerships with parents and guardians
• Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to campus life or culture
• Keep student records accurate and organized
• Invest in your own growth through reflection, feedback, and ongoing professional development

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degrees or a teaching credential is a plus
• Ability and willingness to teach a wide range of Math courses (Basic, Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Integrated, Pre-Calculus, Trigonometry, Statistics, Business & Consumer Math, and Calculus), following content standards — curriculum and resources provided
• Experience working with students, including those with learning differences, neurodiversity, accelerated learning needs, and/or mental health challenges
• Mentoring experience and a passion for social-emotional learning
• Outgoing, adaptable, and eager to thrive in a dynamic, student-centered environment
• Skilled with technology, curious about innovation, and open to learning new tools
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• A growth mindset with the flexibility to pivot and problem-solve as needed

Qualifications

• Must maintain physical residence in one of the following states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington DC, Washington, Wisconsin
• Must maintain a minimum of 24 hours of availability paired across Monday/Wednesday and Tuesday/Thursday; Friday hours are also encouraged

Pay

USD $28.00 /Hr.
