About the Role
At Mathnasium, the #1 math-only learning center (1,000+ locations), we help K-12 students catch up, keep up, and get ahead with personalized tutoring. Make math fun for up to 4 students at a time using the Socratic method and ready-made lessons. No lesson planning or prep—our Curriculum Team builds every lesson.
Responsibilities
- Teach math from Kindergarten through Pre-Calculus, including SAT/ACT prep
- Motivate students with real-world examples and track their progress
- Team-teach with the Center Director
Requirements
- Strong math skills through Algebra I (Geometry or higher preferred)
- Love working with kids
- Pass a background check
- Available 2+ weekday afternoons (3–4 hour shifts)
No prior tutoring experience required—we provide paid training!
