About the role
At Mathnasium, the #1 math-only learning center (1,000+ locations), we help K-12 students catch up, keep up, and get ahead with personalized tutoring. No lesson planning, no stress—just teach math and change lives.
Responsibilities
- Teach math to students from Kindergarten through Pre-Calculus, including SAT/ACT prep
- Motivate students with real-world examples and track their progress
- Team-teach with the Center Director
- Engage up to 4 students at a time using the Socratic method and ready-made lessons
Requirements
- Strong math skills through Algebra I (Geometry or higher preferred)
- Love working with kids
- Pass a background check
- Available for 2+ weekday afternoons (3–4 hour shifts)
No prior tutoring experience required—we provide paid training!
