Math Tutor — In-Home & Online

About the Role

Tutor Doctor Chandler-Gilbert-Ahwatukee is hiring math tutors for in-home and online tutoring positions across the East Valley. Subjects include elementary math, middle school math, algebra, geometry, pre-calculus, calculus, and advanced high school math. This role allows you to make a meaningful difference in students' lives without managing the business side of tutoring.

Our mission is to help prepare today's youth to become tomorrow's successful adults.

Pay

• $20-$35 per hour base pay
• Up to $40 per hour for select students and specialized assignments
• Performance bonuses tied to student satisfaction, reliability, and other performance criteria
• Semi-monthly pay

Flexible scheduling with the ability to build a tutoring caseload around your availability.

Requirements

• Current college enrollment or a completed college degree
• Strong knowledge of math through algebra, geometry, pre-calculus, and/or calculus
• Background as a teacher, education professional, or subject-matter expert
• Ability to adapt instruction to different learning styles
• Reliability, professionalism, and consistent follow-through
• Reliable transportation for in-home tutoring assignments
• Genuine passion for education and student success

Locations

Tutoring opportunities available in Chandler, Gilbert, Ahwatukee/South Phoenix, Tempe, Mesa, and other East Valley communities. Both in-home and online/virtual tutoring options are available. Tutors set their own preferred cities, travel radius, subjects, and availability.
