About the role

Huntington Learning Center is seeking part-time Math and Exam Prep teachers in Plainfield. The ideal candidate is caring, qualified, and committed to student success.

Responsibilities

• Tutor students in Reading, Writing, Mathematics, Study Skills, Phonics, Vocabulary, Science, Test Prep, High School Entrance Exam preparation, and SAT/PSAT & ACT preparation.
• Participate in intensive initial and ongoing training in Huntington teaching methods and curriculum.
• Work directly with students in a flexible working environment, including after school, weekend, and summer hours.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Certification a plus.
• Caring and qualified professional committed to the success of students.

Schedule

• Hours per week: 10-19.
• Working days: Monday through Sunday.
• Typical end time: 8PM.
• Typical start time: 3PM.
