Math/STEM Tutors, Grades 9-12, Established Local Firm

The Association of Test Preparation, Admissions, and Private Tutoring (TPAPT) is seeking STEM or/and Math tutoring specialists to work with students in grades 9-12.

Classification: Part time employee (W2)

Responsibilities

• Provide remote tutoring support to students in grades 9-12
• Tutoring sessions last 60 minutes

Requirements

• 4–10 hours per week of availability
• An earned Bachelor’s degree
• The ability to teach one or more of the following for grades 9–12:
  • Biology, Chemistry, Physics or the Advanced Placement counterpart to those subjects
  • Algebra, Geometry, Pre-Calc, Calculus

Qualifications

Ideal candidates will have a strong academic background and more than two years of experience as a grade 9–12 teacher or tutor.
