Math & Statistics - AI Evaluation Expert

About the role

Rise Data Labs is seeking advanced Mathematics and Statistics experts to support the training and evaluation of state-of-the-art AI systems. We're looking for subject-matter experts who can apply deep quantitative knowledge to challenging AI evaluation problems, assess AI-generated reasoning, and identify technically meaningful errors or limitations within their field.

Responsibilities

• Apply your subject-matter expertise to advanced AI training and evaluation work
• Develop or evaluate challenging problems within your area of expertise
• Assess AI-generated reasoning for technical accuracy and identify subtle errors or failure modes

Requirements

• Master's degree required; PhD strongly preferred in Mathematics, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Probability, Operations Research, or a closely related quantitative field
• Advanced academic, research, or professional expertise within your specialization
• Strong analytical reasoning and ability to evaluate complex mathematical or statistical work
• Prior AI training, evaluation, benchmarking, or LLM experience is a plus
