Math Fellow

Applications are invited for Math Fellows positions, renewable for up to three years, in all areas of mathematics. Any prior postdoctoral experience will count toward the overall Math Fellow experience and may reduce the maximum renewal period. For example, a candidate with three years of postdoctoral experience at another university may serve a maximum of two years as a Math Fellow at UCI. Appointments begin July 1, 2027, or later.

Responsibilities

• Teach no more than five quarter classes per year.
• Demonstrate strong promise in research and teaching.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Mathematics or a related field by the employment start date.
• Strong record or potential in both research and teaching.

Pay

The full-time annual salary for this position starts at $74,600.
