About the Role
As a Math and Science Teacher, you’ll have the flexibility to shape your schedule, design creative lessons, and collaborate with passionate colleagues in a dynamic, student-centered environment. Not all campuses serve grades 4 and 5; specific details will be shared during the interview process.
Responsibilities
- Teach in a truly personalized way — one student at a time.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees or a teaching credential is a plus.
- Ability and willingness to teach a wide range of science and math courses (Earth, Physical, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Astronomy, Earth Space, Anatomy & Physiology, Marine Biology, Zoology, Integrated, Basic Math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Pre-Calculus, Trigonometry, Statistics, Business & Consumer Math, and Calculus), following content standards — curriculum and resources provided.
- Experience working with students, including those with learning differences, neurodiversity, accelerated learning needs, and/or mental health challenges.
- Mentoring experience and a passion for social-emotional learning.
- Outgoing, adaptable, and eager to thrive in a dynamic, student-centered environment.
- Skilled with technology, curious about innovation, and open to learning new tools.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- A growth mindset with the flexibility to pivot and problem-solve as needed.

Schedule
This position is part-time, either 3 days/week (M/W/F or T/TH/F) or specifically mornings between 8:30-12:30. The role may grow to full-time (30+ hours) in the future but is expected to remain part-time for this school year. The Franklin campus is hiring for this schedule.
Pay
Pay Range: USD $25.25/hour.
