About the role

Gideon Math & Reading Center (Cedar Park, Texas) is seeking a friendly, helpful, and reliable individual to assist children aged 4 to 13 with math and reading skills using the Gideon Math & Reading curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Stay positive, encouraging, and professional with students
• Using our answer keys, grade work done by students in their pre-assigned booklets
• Answer questions for students and guide them to independent learning with techniques like sounding out words and rereading the story or directions

Qualifications

• Enjoy working with children
• Be patient
• Be organized
• Love seeing others succeed, and even more, love helping them reach that success
• Always notice the details, whether it is noticing a misspelling, catching an error in a math problem, or always checking your work carefully
• Be able to handle multiple tasks and projects
