Maternal-Fetal Medicine Physician
Location: York / Virtual • Employment Type: Full Time / Part Time / PRN
About the Role
Join an established team of Maternal-Fetal Medicine physicians and APPs supported by genetic counselors and a comprehensive diabetes management team that includes a diabetes educator, nutritionist, and diabetes paraprofessional. This is a full consultative practice with no deliveries.
- Ultrasound Units with AIUM accredited team of Sonographers trained in Obstetric and Fetal Echocardiography
- Flexible practice model: Onsite, virtual, or hybrid
- Collaborative, physician-led team environment
- Integrated behavioral health support for pregnancy-related concerns, trauma, infertility, and grief
- Opportunity to teach and collaborate with 20 OB/GYN residents
- Practice at a hospital featuring a Level III NICU and Level I Trauma Center
Responsibilities
- Provide consultative Maternal-Fetal Medicine services
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including genetic counselors and diabetes management professionals
- Engage in teaching and mentoring OB/GYN residents
Requirements
- Board-certified or board-eligible Maternal-Fetal Medicine (Perinatology) physician
- Eligible for medical licensure in Pennsylvania
Qualifications
Minimum Education:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Required
Licenses:
- Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon Upon Hire Required or
- Licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Upon Hire Required
Courses and Training:
- Diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology or the American Osteopathic Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology Upon Hire Required
- Subspecialty Certification in Maternal-Fetal Medicine Upon Hire Required
- Completion of an Obstetrics and Gynecology residency Upon Hire Required
- Completion of a Maternal-Fetal Medicine fellowship Upon Hire Required
- Must qualify and be a member of the Medical Staff of WellSpan Hospitals Upon Hire Required
