The full-service MFM department offers a broad range of inpatient and outpatient services, allowing focus on complex consultative care with no delivery responsibilities. About the Role
This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician to join an employed position within a busy, well-respected practice, supported by a consistent referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network.
The Team & Structure
Join a collaborative care environment comprising:
- 1 full-time physician
- 2 PRN physicians
- 1 Nurse Practitioner
- 1 Maternal Fetal Medicine Nurse Navigator
- 1 Medical Assistant
- 2 Registered Nurses
- 5 RDMS-certified sonographers
Responsibilities
- Manage a balanced 1:4 call schedule within a broad clinical scope spanning both inpatient and outpatient settings
- Provide comprehensive management for complex obstetrical cases with dedicated OB Hospitalists covering all MFM deliveries
- Drive clinical excellence through evidence-based decision-making within a physician-driven team focused on top-tier quality outcomes and patient satisfaction
- Enhance regional patient care by balancing a moderate daily clinic volume with a stable inpatient consult workload
- Shape the future of medicine by mentoring the next generation of medical professionals through academic affiliations with the Indiana University School of Medicine - Evansville, the University of Southern Indiana, and the University of Evansville (optional adjunct faculty appointment available)
- Practice efficiently using advanced digital infrastructure including AthenaHealth, Sunrise Clinical Manager, CPN, Viewpoint, OneContent, and IMbills (complete training provided)

Requirements
- Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board (obtained prior to hire date)
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required
- Advanced Life Support preferred (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted)
