About the Role
Seeking a leadership role to oversee and expand an academic Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) division in Syracuse, NY, with a 100% consultative practice (no deliveries) and influence over a regional catchment of over 16,000 deliveries.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the region’s only academic MFM division
- Formulate and implement strategic growth plans in collaboration with leadership
- Expand clinical programs, research, and educational initiatives
- Partner with multidisciplinary teams across hospitals
- Contribute to the development of a Fetal Neurosurgery program
Practice and Academic Highlights
- Minimal call requirements and no delivery duties
- Participation in a Level IV NICU and regional perinatal program
- Mentoring fellows, residents, and students
- Leading or engaging in research and quality improvement projects
- Collaborating on interdisciplinary research opportunities
Requirements
- Board Certification in Maternal-Fetal Medicine
- Eligibility for New York medical licensure
- Minimum 5 years of post-fellowship clinical experience
- Proven leadership in clinical care, education, or program development
