Location: Faribault, MN - In-Office Shift: 2nd Shift Your Responsibilities Understand and adhere to company Quality Control procedures, as related to overall inspection requirementsCooperate with production personnel and supervision to ensure the maximum of production with the optimum of quality, as established by managementInspect incoming, in-process, and outgoing material, parts, and assemblies to specifications and blueprints following standard shop practice and/or special instructionsTrain other employees in day-to-day proceduresUtilize quality tools such as Fishbone Diagram, 3 Legged 5 Why, and 8D methodologySupport and participate in quality clinic activitiesDetermine controls necessary to maintain consistent quality levelDispose of rejected materialDirect repairs and deviated corrections as requiredGenerate inspection reports and analysis Your Qualifications High School Diploma or GED2-4 years of experience in quality assurance, manufacturing/operations, or related fieldVocational or technical degree in a related field (preferred) Your Benefits Daikin Applied offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements: Multiple medical insurance plan options + dental and vision insurance 401K retirement plan with employer matchPaid time off and company paid holidaysPaid sick time in accordance with the federal, state and local lawTuition Reimbursement after 6 months of continuous service Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position. The typical hourly pay for this position ranges from $23.65 to $37.68 in MN. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of pre-employment requirements, including verification of employment history, education, background screening, and drug testing where permitted by law.
