Materials Planner
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Work with engineering to develop and maintain bills of material.
- Obtain data needed to generate purchase requisitions, price and number of units required.
- Write purchase requisitions.
- Generate Purchase Orders (POs).
- Process Goods Received when materials have arrived.
- Add new vendors into the purchasing system when necessary.
- Follow progress of orders, tracking expected and actual delivery dates.
- Provide concise updates of project material status.
- Address issues arising from the import of parts when needed.
Education & Experience
- BA or BS in a business or engineering related discipline.
- Experience with working across multiple software platforms.
Skills
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business or engineering, excellent communication and organizational skills, and a commitment to quality and environmental responsibility.
This position requires regular use of a computer and other office equipment, sitting for extended periods, occasional lifting up to 20 pounds, and the ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
