Materials Movement Specialist

About the role

Loads, unloads, and moves materials within or near plant, yard, or work site, performing any combination of following duties.

Responsibilities

• Movement of materials to or from storage or work sites to designated area, using hand-truck, electric dolly, fork lift, electric tugger, or other device.
• Picking up coils from the end of the production lines.
• Delivery of parts as needed to production.
• Delivery of parts to fin press.
• Upend fin sock and help in other areas as needed.
• Ability to make mathematical calculations.
• Work well with Production and other Stockroom personnel.
• Willing to learn all stockroom functions.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent.
• Ability to use a forklift, computer, and scan gun.
• Ability to lift and push up to 50 lbs.

Schedule

• Position requires staggered hours when required and any required overtime.
