About the role
The Materials Management Technician at Olean General Hospital works in the Storeroom department.
Responsibilities
- Manage inventory levels and ensure stock availability
- Handle incoming and outgoing materials according to hospital policies
- Support daily operations by maintaining storage areas and equipment
- Assist with the procurement process for medical supplies and equipment
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Knowledge of medical terminology and hospital procedures
