Responsibilities
- Manage the Purchasing and Receiving functional areas.
- Ensure inventory accuracy, inventory turns, timely receiving and flow of material to the line.
- Prevent safety incidents and handle safety training and near miss/root cause analysis.
- Track and report internal supply manufacturing costs, cost of product calculations, waste costs, and month-end financial close documents.
- Support supplier and material quality assurance, material returns, disposition, and scrap disposal.
- Analyze and review purchasing, costing accuracy, and manufacturing waste.
- Work with Quality organization to drive programs related to supplier and material quality assurance.
- Support and assist in expense budgeting for materials, supplies, and other expenses.
- Coordinate with strategic procurement team on leadtime and pricing needs, and negotiate relationships with local suppliers.
- Communicate actively across functions on material risks/shortages, substitutions, and solutions for materials flow.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Supply Chain, or related field or equivalent experience.
- APICS or ISM Certification preferred.
- Three to five years’ materials management experience in a high-volume manufacturing facility.
Qualifications
- Willing to travel 10-15%.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and computer skills.
- Ability to multi-task and effectively motivate team members & others with diverse backgrounds.
- Use of Microsoft Office Software and DataWorks or other operating systems as required.
- Continuous improvement or lean manufacturing experience a plus.

Pay
Pay Range: $99,000 - $123,000 depending on relevant experience and qualifications.
