Responsibilities

  • Manage the Purchasing and Receiving functional areas.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy, inventory turns, timely receiving and flow of material to the line.
  • Prevent safety incidents and handle safety training and near miss/root cause analysis.
  • Track and report internal supply manufacturing costs, cost of product calculations, waste costs, and month-end financial close documents.
  • Support supplier and material quality assurance, material returns, disposition, and scrap disposal.
  • Analyze and review purchasing, costing accuracy, and manufacturing waste.
  • Work with Quality organization to drive programs related to supplier and material quality assurance.
  • Support and assist in expense budgeting for materials, supplies, and other expenses.
  • Coordinate with strategic procurement team on leadtime and pricing needs, and negotiate relationships with local suppliers.
  • Communicate actively across functions on material risks/shortages, substitutions, and solutions for materials flow.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Supply Chain, or related field or equivalent experience.
  • APICS or ISM Certification preferred.
  • Three to five years’ materials management experience in a high-volume manufacturing facility.

Qualifications

  • Willing to travel 10-15%.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and computer skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and effectively motivate team members & others with diverse backgrounds.
  • Use of Microsoft Office Software and DataWorks or other operating systems as required.
  • Continuous improvement or lean manufacturing experience a plus.

Pay

Pay Range: $99,000 - $123,000 depending on relevant experience and qualifications.

Schedule

Full-time position.
