About the role

You will oversee end-to-end material flow, including inbound materials, production scheduling, inventory control, and outbound shipping. Manage production scheduling activities, balancing customer demand, production capacity, and material availability to meet service levels. Lead daily operations across warehouse, shipping, and scheduling teams, ensuring alignment to production plans and delivery requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as On-Time Delivery, schedule adherence, inventory accuracy, productivity, and customer complaints, and drive continuous improvement actions.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with production, procurement, customer service, and logistics to ensure accurate order fulfillment and timely delivery.
  • Oversee inventory management, cycle counts, and material planning, ensuring optimal stock levels and minimizing excess or shortages.
  • Manage relationships with carriers and external vendors, including performance monitoring, cost management, and service level improvements.
  • Identify operational inefficiencies and implement lean practices, process improvements, and workflow enhancements across scheduling, warehousing, and shipping.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards (OSHA), company policies, and regulatory requirements, fostering a strong safety culture.
  • Lead, coach, and develop team members across operations, including performance management, training, and workforce planning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field preferred
  • 5–8+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, supply chain, scheduling, warehouse, or shipping
  • Strong understanding of inventory management, logistics, and production planning systems
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred), MRP, and data analysis tools
  • Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement experience preferred
  • Demonstrated leadership, communication, and problem-solving capabilities

Physical Requirements

Ability to work in both office and manufacturing environments, with prolonged standing/walking and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Must follow PPE and safety requirements.

Pay

The compensation for this position will typically range from $84,000- $155,500 annually. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity.
