About the role
This role is responsible for transportation, warehouse, and facility support within a regional agency setting.
Responsibilities
- Drive and maintain agency vehicles, deliver and pick up equipment, furniture, and supplies, and oversee vehicle logs and minor repairs
- Manage shipping, receiving, and inventory in warehouses, including operating warehouse equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks
- Assemble, install, and adjust furniture and equipment, assist with office moves and minor building repairs
- Serve on the Disaster Deployment Team by delivering emergency supplies and equipment
- Use systems like CAFM and CAPPS for documentation and tracking
Qualifications
A high school diploma or GED is required, along with a valid Class C driver’s license and experience with warehouse operations.
Skills
- Ability to operate motorized equipment
- Strong organizational, communication, and safety skills
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform basic repairs
- Ability to follow directions, develop effective relationships, and travel as needed
Additional Information
Preference is given to candidates with experience in shipping, warehouse management, and driving cargo vehicles. The role may require assisting in emergency/disaster situations, working extended hours, and supporting various operational duties.
