Materials Management Coordinator

Come build your career with Vibra Healthcare! We are seeking a Materials Management Coordinator to join our team! Vibra Hospital of Northern California, located in Redding, CA, is a 50‑bed Critical Care Hospital and a 32‑bed SNF providing long‑term acute care services to patients recovering from serious illnesses or injuries. Often our patients require additional critical care services for medically complex conditions such as trauma, infectious diseases, wound healing, cardiovascular disease, stroke, amputation and ventilator weaning. As a smaller, specialized hospital, we offer an opportunity to work in a fast‑paced and friendly work environment where you really get to know your patients and their families.

Responsibilities

• Organize and manage the day‑to‑day Materials Management needs and operations for the facility.
• Research purchasing options.
• Monitor inventory.
• Order supplies.
• Receive and disburse shipments and deliveries.
• Direct and recommend purchases within designated purchasing group organizations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Verbal ability to communicate effectively with hospital staff.
• Minimum three (3) years of previous hospital materials management experience, with increasing managerial level responsibility in materials or a related field.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred.
• Ability to project a professional image.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.

Skills

• Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.

Pay

Posted Compensation Range: $23.00 to $26.43 per hour.
