Summary
As a Materials Management/Central Supply, your key role is to organize, track and deliver supplies that are vital to the success of the hospital. Ensuring that each room and floor is stocked and prepared for the next patient at all times, is an essential practice throughout the system.
Responsibilities
- Supply & Distribution: Ensure all necessary forms are completed; ensure all materials are stocked to the appropriate level per exchange cart; report all inventory discrepancies to Buyer/Planner, Supervisors and/or Materials Manager; inventory and maintain medical equipment supply levels
- Management of Receivables: Ensure materials are kept in their proper location; review package slips and verify incoming materials
- Messenger Services: Fill miscellaneous orders from departments; transport materials to designated areas with documentation; ensure all incoming materials are signed for by the department
Requirements
- Valid Driver's License required
- Complete Materials Management Skills Checklist I required
- Participated in Hazardous Materials Safety Training and Safety Lifting Program
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communications skills
- Basic computer skills with Microsoft Office software familiarity
Qualifications
- Physical Requirements: M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.

Pay
The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components.
Schedule
Days, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM OR 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
