About the role
The Materials Management Associate role at our printing plant in Eagan, Minnesota offers:
- Drive a powered industrial vehicle (PIV) to safely move products.
- Unload trucks and boxcars, performing goods receipts, cycle counting, and order delivery.
- Utilize ERP systems and/or radio frequency (RF) equipment for material/product movement activities.
- Pick, sort, or pack items in appropriate packaging, ensuring quality conditions.
- Monitor, stock, and transport materials or finished goods to designated areas.
- Research and process returns, accurately recording information in ERP and determining product return eligibility.
- Provide data to internal departments as requested.
- Accurately document activities on Tier Boards.
- Operate 2-way radio for communication.
- Perform daily maintenance and change batteries if needed.
- Participate in safety programs and contribute to a safe work environment.
- Meet or exceed established quality and productivity standards using standard work procedures.
- Maintain work area and equipment through housekeeping procedures.
- Recommend and implement process improvements.
- Participate in project teams as needed.
Responsibilities

- Monitor, stock, and transport materials or finished goods to designated areas.

Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1-2 years of experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse environments.
- Experience with enterprise resource systems (e.g., SAP) is preferred.
- Previous lift truck experience is preferred.
- Knowledgeable in basic math and computer skills.
- Able to work overtime and flex schedule as required to meet customer demand.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods of time.
- Able to send and receive oral communications via 2-way radios.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently or in a team environment.
Skills
- Able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, equipment displays, operating and maintenance instructions, and production orders.
- Able to be certified and operate power material handling equipment.
- Basic math skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Able to work overtime and flex schedule as required to meet customer demand.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods of time.
- Able to send and receive oral communications via 2-way radios.
- Demonstrated ability to work well independently or in a team environment.
