About the role
Join our team as a Material Handler within the Americas Training and Service Center (ATSC), a newly formed team based in Milford HQ dedicated to supporting the Waters Field Service Organization. This is an opportunity to become a valued team member in a world-class specialty measurement company.
Responsibilities
- Accurate processing of returned parts from the Service organization.
- Work with the Production Planner in ATSC to accurately process and channel returned instrumentation.
- Preparation, packing, and dispatching of Service parts.
- Maintain the Returns area to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with ATSC colleagues on miscellaneous duties within the returns area.
Requirements
- High School graduate, GED, or equivalent.
- 2+ years warehouse background is highly preferred, along with familiarity with warehouse safety procedures.
- Computer experience and software proficiency; daily use of Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and SAP is highly desired.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to work within a larger team and communicate with Field Service personnel.
- Administration skills to organize, keep good notes, and record data neatly and accurately while paying close attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize and handle daily/weekly workloads with multitasking capabilities.
Skills
- Reliability and ability to operate material handling equipment, including Pallet Jack, Hand Truck, and Step Ladder.
- Basic math skills with emphasis on addition and subtraction.
- Sound communication skills, including the ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to comprehend and exchange verbal and written instructions.
- Administration skills, including organizing and recording data neatly and accurately.
- Good note-keeping and eagerness to learn new processes.
- Ability to prioritize workload and work overtime on short notice during peak periods.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
