About the Role

Remove cartons from the special order handling belt and sort them on wooden pallets by customer. Wrap full pallets with plastic wrap, then use a pallet jack to move pallets to the designated staging area.

Responsibilities

• Identify product styles by case in overflow behind pick racks or at the end of pick racks to load slick rails and flow racks by style to the determined location.
• Load slick rails and flow racks as needed to keep product in locations and available to pick.
• Make boxes and pick up empty cases throughout the department while replenishing.
• Clear all zones of case debris, pallets, and perform any other duties specified by the supervisor.
• Operate a pallet jack.
• Perform any other duties specified by the supervisor or manager.
• Obtain supplies required for daily operations and prepare the work area.

• Push/Pull (object weight): <5 lbs (max 250 lbs) for 3–150 ft (pallet, empty boxes with pallet jack)
• Push/Pull (static force): <5 lbs (max 25 lbs) for 3–150 ft (pallet, empty boxes with pallet jack)
• Break cycle: 20 minutes

Requirements

• Must read, write, and communicate in English as it relates to the job and safety regulations.
• Must be able to learn to use the equipment required to complete tasks.

• Must be able to perform all functions of the job safely.
