Materials Handler I

About the role

The Materials Handler I supports Bimeda's manufacturing operations by ensuring the safe, accurate, and efficient handling of materials. This includes receiving, inspecting, storing, and delivering raw materials and finished goods in compliance with cGMP standards and internal procedures.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming materials and components per SOPs.
• Accurately store and maintain inventory in designated areas.
• Pick, stage, and deliver materials to production and other departments.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, FDA regulations, and Bimeda policies.
• Report discrepancies or quality issues to supervisors promptly.
• Support cross-functional teams including Manufacturing, MS&T, QC, and QA.
• Aid with data entry and administrative tasks related to inventory and logistics.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in warehouse/production environments.
