Materials Handler 1 - Inventory Control Cycle Counter (1st Shift)

About the role

The Materials Handler 1 performs cycle counts and adjustments to maintain accurate on-hand inventory and ensures the precision of Distribution Center processes through audits of operations and associates.

Responsibilities

• Audits areas and processes to determine associate and process accuracy.
• Verifies outbound shipment accuracy to stores, manufacturing facilities, and distribution centers.
• Performs cycle counts, including initial counts, recounts, and discrepancy research.
• Executes inventory adjustments and write-offs as required.
• Handles additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 6+ months of experience in a distribution center environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong communication skills.
• Flexible, able to multi-task, and work independently.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as requested.
• Capable of standing/walking for up to 10 hours.
• Able to lift up to 65 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AS400 and SAP.
