Materials Handler 1 (1st Shift)

Responsibilities

• Audits areas and processes as required to determine associate and process accuracy.
• Verifies outbound shipment accuracy to stores, manufacturing facilities, and distribution centers.
• Performs cycle counts including initial counts, recounts, and research discrepancies.
• Performs inventory adjustments and write-offs as required.
• Conducts pre- and post-operation inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning.
• Responsible for any additional duties assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 6+ months experience in a distribution center environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong communication skills.
• Flexible and able to multi-task.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as requested.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to work in a stand/walk position for up to 10 hours.
• Ability to lift up to 65 lbs.
• Ability to safely work at heights to access inventory in elevated storage locations.
• Ability to qualify to obtain a license to operate heavy equipment, such as cherry pickers, WAVs, etc.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AS400 and SAP.
