RemoteRemoteEngineering$84/hrContract

Contribute to research-grade physics benchmarks used to evaluate advanced language models. Work asynchronously with a fully remote, flexible schedule on an independent contractor basis.

About the role

Solve, review, and validate complex physics problems across multiple specialized subfields. Help produce fully human-verified reference solutions for frontier physics reasoning. Typical commitment of ~10 hours per week over an 8–10 week project window, with opportunities for extensions.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct hands-on experimental work with superconducting materials.
  • Synthesize or process superconductors (e.g., solid-state synthesis, thin-film deposition).
  • Characterize superconducting properties via electrical resistivity, magnetotransport, and cryogenic experiments.
  • Analyze and document superconducting phenomena (Tc, Jc, critical magnetic fields, flux pinning).

Requirements

  • Hands-on experimental experience with superconducting materials, including cuprate/high-temperature superconductors and iron-based superconductors.
  • Advanced degree (PhD/MS) or equivalent hands-on research experience in materials science, condensed matter physics, or a related field.

Pay

$84 per hour

Schedule

10–40 hours per week, fully remote, flexible hours.
