About the role
P&G has an opportunity for a Material Development Associate Researcher to work in our Feminine Care business. The Fem Care Lab at Winton Hill focuses on innovative research and development to enhance the quality and effectiveness of Fem Care products. This collaborative environment fosters a multidisciplinary approach, integrating science, consumer insights, and product design to meet the evolving needs of women.
This team member will play a crucial role in conducting experiments, analyzing data, and translating findings into actionable improvements for P&G's Fem Care portfolio. This role will be responsible for the maintenance and project support for the Fem Care Material Development Research Lab. We are looking for an individual who is inspired by hands-on experimentation and basic science/troubleshooting activities.

Responsibilities
- Utilize material testing and analyze trends/technical data to gain insights on controls and proactively identify issues.
- Perform preventative maintenance of the material development lab, as well as modify existing equipment/software to meet new testing requirements.
- Conduct research on new materials and their potential applications.
- Collaborate with product development teams to understand product requirements.
- Identify materials that can enhance product performance and sustainability.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of new ideas, techniques, procedures, services, or products under guidance.
- Collaborate effectively within your immediate team or work domain to maximize job impact and personal learning.
- Handle systems like Enovia, Nexus for material specifications, GPS clearances, and SOI submissions.
- Work with external material suppliers to maintain quality—lab co-ops, SOI quarterly testing.
Requirements
- Associate degree in material science or related field, or a High School diploma with relevant experience and interests. 2-year and 4-year degrees are also welcome.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Comfort and experience using Microsoft Office Tools, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and SharePoint.
- Available to work at our office in Winton Hill Business Office in Cincinnati, OH, 5 days per week.
Preferred Qualifications
- High degree of mechanical aptitude, along with strong technical curiosity and troubleshooting capabilities.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions precisely and make critical observations.
- Prior experience in a research role and lab work.
Pay
$61,600.00 - $70,850.00 / year
