Responsibilities
- Collaborate with warehouse personnel to move materials, supplies, and products to and from designated storage areas.
- Organize, label, and store materials to maintain an efficient and well-maintained warehouse environment.
- Monitor inventory levels, communicate shortages or surpluses, and perform cycle counts to rectify discrepancies.
- Escalate abnormalities to leads or supervisors promptly.
- Respond to material requests from departments, delivering supplies to workstations or production areas as needed.
- Maintain timely and accurate material replenishment to support uninterrupted production flow.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles, including the 5S methodology, to minimize waste and optimize workspace layouts.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and suggest efficiency enhancements.
- Track and record material movements, usage, and replenishment activities; generate reports and insights for supervisors.
- Support quality control teams in inspections, checks, and audits to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
- Address quality-related issues promptly.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines when handling materials and operating equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace in compliance with all safety regulations.
- Work closely with production, procurement, and warehouse teams to coordinate material movement and availability.
- Foster open communication and teamwork to ensure seamless material flow throughout the facility.
- Implement and execute Standard Work and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse management is a plus.
- 7+ years of experience operating material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Forklift certification (internal certification process) required within 60 days of employment.
- 7+ years of experience as a Water Spider, Material Handler, or in a related warehouse coordination role.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Physical agility and stamina to handle materials, including standing, walking, lifting, and reaching.
- Basic understanding of lean manufacturing principles and inventory control concepts.
- Proficiency in using computerized inventory management systems and software.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with colleagues and supervisors.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in tracking and recording material movements.
- Problem-solving skills to address unexpected issues and ensure continuous material availability.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
- Flexibility and adaptability to modify activities in an ever-changing business environment.
- Able to stand, walk, push, pull, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Able to lift up to 10 pounds regularly and 50 pounds occasionally.

- This is an on-site position at our Monroe, WA office; remote or hybrid work arrangements are not available.

This role is based at our Monroe, WA headquarters. In-person work is core to our collaborative, hands-on approach to solving real manufacturing and operational challenges. Being on-site ensures we stay connected as a team and respond quickly to customer needs.
