Materials Clerk TN-3rd Shift

About the Role

This position reports to the Warehouse Supervisor and is responsible for fulfilling all assigned duties, with authority delegated accordingly. As a Materials Clerk, you will ensure all products in the warehouse are properly labeled and located in SAP, maintaining inventory accuracy for timely delivery to production.

Responsibilities

• Deliver part requests to the production floor in a timely manner
• Transfer products in SAP from the warehouse to production floor storage locations using a scanner
• Troubleshoot common SAP errors during warehouse transactions
• Maintain warehouse rack inventory accuracy by performing assigned rack checks
• Order truck deliveries from outside warehouses to the plant based on production requests
• File pack slips correctly and ensure necessary transfers from outside warehouses to the plant in SAP
• Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse and surrounding areas
• Assist with 5S and LEAN housekeeping initiatives
• Perform any additional duties assigned or inherent to the position

Requirements

• Previous warehouse experience preferred
• Working knowledge of SAP a plus
• Forklift experience preferred, with ability to obtain JOST International Fork Truck Certification
• Ability to gain knowledge of company products
• Compliance with quality, environmental, safety, and JOST company policies and procedures

Physical Requirements

• Work is performed in a warehouse area 100% of the time
• Regularly stand, walk, reach, bend, and twist
• Occasionally stoop, kneel, lift, pull, or move objects of 50 pounds or less with or without assistance
