About the Company

What’s it like to work at Kinder’s? Beyond snacking and sharing weekend cooking stories, there’s plenty of hard work. We’re obsessed with flavor and have grown into a top-five brand in multiple flavor categories at Costco, Walmart, Whole Foods, and more. As a privately held, founder-led company, we operate like a pirate ship in a sea of cruise ships—adventurous, fearless, and charting our own course. With global expansion and nearly $1 billion in revenue, we’re looking for smart-and-scrappy, flavor-obsessed people to join our crew. Here, you’ll see the real impact of your work as we add flavor to millions of meals and lives.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Material Supply Planner for Raw Materials to join our team. Reporting to the Strategic Sourcing Manager, you’ll ensure timely delivery of raw materials to maintain production continuity. If you’re a strategic thinker with a passion for planning, logistics, and supply chain management, this is the perfect opportunity.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Strategic Sourcing Manager in stocking plans to enable co-manufacturers to meet production schedules.
  • Manage raw material inbound schedules to ensure timely delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement supply chain strategies that maintain required stock levels.
  • Monitor and analyze inventory data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
  • Handle day-to-day order management and delivery coordination.
  • Support the production planning process by ensuring timely delivery of dependent materials.
  • Take follow-up actions to resolve material shortages affecting production.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and co-manufacturers to secure optimal delivery schedules based on production timing.
  • Identify and resolve supply chain issues promptly to minimize disruptions.
  • Monitor the integrity of Bill of Materials (BOM) and manage inventory accuracy.
  • Create reports to analyze and update material positions and coverage.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to forecast, plan, and facilitate on-time material delivery to the production line, avoiding disruptions.
  • Generate and communicate supplier material delivery schedules and forecasts to align with requirements and demand.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure demand is met and deliveries are on time.
  • Develop and implement processes and work with suppliers on continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support the assessment and sourcing of suppliers in conjunction with the Sourcing Team.
  • Participate in supplier/co-manufacturer meetings to ensure material demand is met.
  • Resolve supplier concerns and evaluate supplier performance and KPIs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Material Supply Planning or a related role.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management and forecasting techniques.
  • Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices in material planning.

Work Environment

We embrace an entrepreneurial spirit and thrive in ambiguity, making decisions quickly rather than waiting for perfect information. Our team takes smart risks and values growth, but we remain a people-first company built on connection, collaboration, and balance. While most work happens in the office to foster creativity and community, we offer flexibility to support work-life balance and personal commitments.

This position is based in Walnut Creek, CA, with a hybrid work structure requiring 4 days in the office weekly. Fridays are flex days, allowing employees to choose between working in the office or remotely based on their needs.

Pay

The expected starting salary range for this role is $115,000–$130,000 per year. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as location, relevant education, qualifications, performance, and business needs.
