About the role
The Material Program Manager (MPM) role is located in Tucson, Arizona, within the AIM-9X program at Raytheon. This is a great opportunity for someone with a university/college degree and five (5) years of relevant prior experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of three (3) years of experience.
Responsibilities
- Engage with PMO leadership on material strategy execution
- Cook up and execute a material program strategy/plan for a program or integrated product team
- Coordinate Risk Mitigation and Opportunity capture plans with Procurement
- Review and burn down SCM metrics
- Develop and drive material EACs and monthly material forecasting
- Commitment to obtain MPM certification after experience in the role
Qualifications
- Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
- Experience with Material Requirements Planning (MRP)
- Progressive professional experience with a combination of experience in Project, Program, Product, Finance or Supplier Management is required
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and presentation), leadership abilities, and the ability to work in an IPT environment
- Must be a self-starter, capable of achieving organizational and program objectives, and able to interface with all levels of internal management, supplier management
- Must be able to succeed in the high stress, fast paced environment of development
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to assign the appropriate priorities to the many tasks that they will be required to perform

- Salary range: 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD
