About the role

Raytheon is seeking a Material Program Manager (MPM) in support of the Air Dominance Portfolio located in Tucson, AZ.

Responsibilities

  • Brief program and customer leadership teams on Supply Chain execution, material constraints, and risk mitigation or opportunity capture plans
  • Manage material sales forecasting, material budgets, and monthly/quarterly Earned Value financial reporting
  • Execute make/buy/where process
  • Aid in the generation of Supplier Statement of Work (SSOW)
  • Generate Supplier Request for Information/Proposals/Quotes (RFIs/RFPs/RFQs), and obtain and understand supplier proposals/quotes
  • Generate and process Supplier New Add / Re-Activation requests
  • Support supplier negotiations and drive PO placement plan execution to meet program cost and schedule objectives
  • Participate in supplier engagements and reviews to ensure supplier performance
  • Monitor performance metrics and proactively act to address program and functional issues
  • Travel domestically/internationally, as required

Requirements

  • Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Qualifications

  • Experience managing budgets
  • Experience managing, and/or working with suppliers
  • Experience using supply chain planning tools (i.e. SAP, Kinaxis, etc.)

Benefits

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
