Material Planning Coordinator III (2nd Shift)
About the role
The Material Planning Coordinator (MPC) supports the manufacturing process by performing kit release, material support, and documentation maintenance activities within production and engineering labs. They ensure the internal flow of material, kits, and manufactured hardware meets manufacturing schedules and Operations commitments. The MPC responds to material shortages due to lost, damaged, or defective material to prevent work stoppages. They maintain accurate records by updating applicable systems that provide product status to the Supply Chain Planner and support engineering change orders affecting parts and material by effective date.
At the MPC III level, the individual handles more complex and high-impact projects, becoming system-savvy to build a foundation for career growth opportunities.
This position utilizes system applications such as Oracle, Solumina, Dataview, PLM, and TIPQA to perform daily tasks and actively participates in establishing Point of Use Material and cycle count activities in the factory. Additional duties and responsibilities are performed as required.
Responsibilities
- Perform kit release, material support, and documentation maintenance in production and engineering labs.
- Ensure the internal flow of material, kits, and manufactured hardware meets manufacturing schedules.
- Respond to material shortages to prevent work stoppages.
- Maintain accurate records in systems providing product status to the Supply Chain Planner.
- Support engineering change orders affecting parts and material by effective date.
- Utilize system applications such as Oracle, Solumina, Dataview, PLM, and TIPQA.
- Participate in establishing Point of Use Material and cycle count activities in the factory.
- Handle complex and high-impact projects at the MPC III level.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as required.
Requirements
- Typically a High School Diploma and 2 years of work experience or equivalent experience.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Oracle or other ERP system experience.
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office applications.
- Active Security Clearance.
Schedule
Second Shift - 3:30 pm - 1:30 am - 4 days a week (4/10 Schedule).
Pay
Full-Time Salary Range: $57,319 - $91,710. Individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications such as skills, education, and experience.
