Job Description: The Temporary Planner will support day-to-day material planning and execution activities for the Charlotte manufacturing team. This role will help coordinate material availability checks using SAP and Lean DNA, identify material constraints, follow up on open supply actions, and help ensure material transactions are processed accurately and on time in SAP. The position is intended to provide short-term operational support to improve visibility, execution discipline, and schedule adherence for production and aftermarket material requirements. Key Responsibilities Review material requirements, shortages, and critical need items in Lean DNA and SAP to support production and customer demand.Perform routine material availability checks and communicate constraints, risks, and required follow-up actions to material planners, production schedulers, buyers, and operations leaders.Monitor open purchase requisitions, purchase orders, stock transfer activity, production order components, and other supply records to confirm that required materials are progressing toward availability.Help ensure material transactions are processed accurately in SAP, including receipts, transfers, issues, adjustments, confirmations, and other required updates based on business process ownership.Compare material availability dates, requirement dates, supplier commits, and schedule needs to identify misalignment that could impact production or customer delivery.Coordinate with cross-functional partners to close gaps in material visibility, including Supply Chain, Production, Kitting, Receiving, Purchasing, Master Data, and Customer Service. Required QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, operations, or a related field preferred.Experience working in manufacturing, supply chain, inventory control, material planning, purchasing, warehouse operations, or production support.Working knowledge of SAP; ability to research material, order, inventory, or transaction status.Strong Excel skills, including filtering, sorting, basic formulas, and maintaining action trackers.Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard work accurately.Ability to communicate clearly with planners, buyers, production teams, and leadership regarding material status and action needs.Ability to prioritize multiple open issues in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Preferred QualificationsExperience with SAP transactions related to purchase requisitions, purchase orders, material documents, stock transfers, production orders, or inventory movements.Experience using Lean DNA for clear-to-build, shortage review, PFEP, receipts, or material planning visibility.Understanding of material availability dates, lead times, supplier commits, purchase order conversion, and production scheduling impacts. Work Environment and Expectations This is a hands-on, site-support role that requires regular interaction with supply chain, production, and operations teams. The successful candidate should be comfortable working with system data.
