Material Plan Associate

Responsibilities

• Covers all production orders delivered to the production shop floor (including all primary and secondary operations)
• Processes stock orders and dates production based on department capacity
• Communicates issues with operations
• Covers remake items and communicates information to the floor
• Works with production & shipping to ensure all orders are scheduled for delivery in a timely manner
• Full coordination with customer service and plant management on all issues relating to product scheduling for production

Requirements

• Education/Experience: BS degree-preferred, 2-4 years in production scheduling
• Desired Skills: Ability to lead and motivate co-workers, excellent problem-solving skills, self-motivated with a results-driven approach, able to work under pressure, excellent organizational skills, strong communication skills, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ability to train others, firm commitment to safety, strong leadership, supervisory, and people skills, computer literacy with general skills in data entry and spreadsheets (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Physical Requirements: Regularly sits and stands for eight hours, talks, hears, performs highly repetitive motions, walks, uses hands to feel or handle, reaches with hands and arms, lifts up to 50 lb., frequently adjusts focus, regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles, regularly exposed to noise.
