About the role

The primary responsibility of this position is to perform all production activities, including planning, monitoring, and coordinating materials in collaboration with the Shift Leader to meet the department’s production schedule. You will assist in ensuring the success of our sales network by maintaining open and accurate communications with operators and the Shift Lead.

Responsibilities

• Record production or process data and maintain logs as required.
• Observe and record key process indicators such as air and temperature gauges, metal color, and fluidity; adjust controls to maintain required temperatures.
• Maintain material accountability during preparation and production using scales or other measuring equipment in compliance with standard procedures.
• Accurately follow sampling protocols for analytical testing.
• Organize materials into drums, ensuring they are closed, sealed, and weighed prior to shipment according to customer and company specifications.
• Develop knowledge of chemical composition, structure, and properties of substances, including chemical processes, interactions, safety signs, production techniques, and disposal methods.
• Develop expertise in raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and techniques to maximize effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and professional work area; use equipment and materials properly.
