Material Hanlder/Driver

About the role

3-Dimensional Services Group is seeking a material handler/driver for its Lapeer location for 1st shift. The primary purpose of this position is to act as a material handler, moving materials from trucks into the warehouse, organizing and delivering raw materials, and packing parts for shipping. The candidate will also serve as a backup driver as needed.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading of trucks.
• Checking materials into warehouse.
• Operating a HILO to transport material for various reasons.
• Ensuring all incoming and outgoing paperwork is signed correctly.
• Packing parts for shipment.
• Assisting in the performance of various shipping department duties as needed.
• Frequently requires walking up to ½ mile at a time and navigating stairs.
• Ability to lift up to 65 pounds to a height of 3‑4 feet.
• Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, stand, crawl, walk, and perform carrying, pushing, and pulling of parts with proper training and knowledge of available resources.
• Remain in a stationary position; use hands/fingers to handle or feel; reach.
• Driving parts or materials to various locations.
• Maintain a valid driver’s license and safe driving habits at all times.
• Operate multiple size trucks (company‑owned); Chauffeur or CDL may be required.
• Follow required PPE and all company safety policies.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years of work experience.

Skills

• Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
• Self‑motivated and able to perform duties with minimal supervision.
• Works well in a team environment.
