Essential Functions
- Helps to set up department work stations and production lines for maximum efficiency
- Organizes movement of work-in-process, finished goods, and materials for maximum efficiency
- Operates material handling equipment, such as hand jacks and motorized fork lifts
- Cleans, maintains, and replenishes corrugated stock and inventory
- Buys packaging, corrugated, and molded product and hardware to production lines/presses/areas
- Straps/bands and/or wraps products for shipment
- Uses the computer system to accurately and effectively track inventory
- Maintains accurate records of material usage and transfers from work-in-process to finished goods
- Aids leaders and operators with various departmental tasks as needed
- See, read, and follow work instructions, safety procedures, and complete various forms and reports
- Able to rotate into other departments to perform similar tasks as needed
- Operates various assembly production equipment and hand tools
- Works with co-workers in a safe, professional, and cooperative manner
- Maintains good attendance, flexibility in job assignments, adaptability to changing business needs, and continually learns and applies new skills
- Mets minimum physical/mental demands with or without reasonable accommodation
- Complies with all company policies and procedures
- Trains others on knowledge and skills mastered
Pre-Requisites/Minimum Qualifications
- Previous similar experience
- Working knowledge of Mack Molding Company's manufacturing and shipping environment and material flow
- Ability to use computers
- HS reading and math skills or equivalent
- Inventory tracking / organizational skills
- Able to work flexible work schedules / OT
- Ability to drive a fork truck
- Must be available for overtime as needed
